Celebrate the Holidays At Hunt Street
4th Annual Giving Tree
The Giving Tree is actually a very old Hunt Street Station tradition but we’re proud to have brought it back now for the 4th year in a row. Please join us in making the holidays just a little bit better for the children of Detroit by supporting the Hunt Street Station giving tree.
This year we have the privilege to help low-income families and their children who live in our Mcdougall-Hunt neighborhood. We will be partnering with the Bailey Park Project and Mcdougall-Hunt Neighborhood Association to complete our fundraising goals. We ask for your assistance in helping us to bring joy to low-income families during this holiday season.
This year we’re hosting our first Christkindl Market in the Hunt Street Station parking lot. We’ll have food, treat, and craft vendors along with entertainment for shoppers!
The market will be open:
- Friday, December 3rd from 4pm-9pm
- Saturday, December 4th from noon-9pm
Vendors: Do you make delicious holiday treats or delightful crafts that would make perfect gifts? Register to be one of our vendors and reserve your booth today!
Attendees: Are you looking for great gifts to buy for someone you love? Join us and support our local bakers, crafters, and entertainers!
Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us outside on Saturday, December 4th at 5:30pm for a tree lighting sponsored and organized by our next door neighbors at the St. Paul AME Church!
