DUHTROIT x Little Liberia Roots & Renaissance Exhibit

This month, we are spotlighting Justice Oshiyoye, founder of DUHTROIT, for his recent collaboration with Little Liberia on the Roots & Renaissance exhibit.

The grand opening of Little Liberia and the Roots & Renaissance exhibit brought together institutions, family, friends, food lovers, and artists to celebrate a long-awaited accomplishment. The exhibit featured 12 Detroit and African artists, including several large-scale works, creating a beautiful connection between art, culture, food, and community.

DUHTROIT continues to grow as a creative platform that highlights the soul of Detroit through photography, storytelling, and local talent. Justice’s work is a strong example of what happens when creativity is used to build community and give artists more space to be seen.
