Come join us at the Jefferson | Detroit Public Library for a fun-filled day of learning about and planting seeds to celebrate Earth Day! With guest speaker, The Greening of Detroit.
Earth Day Cleanup & Cookout at Hunt St 4/26/25 11am to 1pm
Spring is here and Summer is around the corner so we want to dedicate some of our time to keeping our community beautiful! Join us in doing some community work clearing trash from the winter in our neighborhood. We will meet here at Hunt Street and spread the surrounding areas then return here for lunch cookout!
Earth Day at the Detroit Historical Society 4/26/25 10am to 5pm
Join us for a free family day with fun and engaging activities that highlight the natural habitat and human history of Belle Isle. Enjoy a seed-based craft project, explore the environment, and don’t miss a special performance by Detroit storyteller Madelyn Porter at 11 a.m. Seeds provided by the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
