Our Year in Review
What a year 2023 was. From January to December we have seen growth, change, and development in many areas here at Hunt Street. We want to highlight a few of the things that stuck out to us this year! Firstly we want to congratulate you all for the dedication you’ve shown to your work and community, Hunt Street wouldn’t exist without the many of you who continuously pour into the community here to ensure it’s thriving. So we thank all of you for being a part of what we do here!
This year our very first tenant and sister company Macro Connect moved from the 2nd floor to the renewed Hosmer Library down the road. This presented the opportunity for us to open up the 2nd floor for Coworking for the first time in our 5 years of being open. Other changes to the building include; a new fire escape, renovations to the Balogun Conference Room, and new heaters in the Mahone and Banghart Room.
Throughout the year we hosted events to engage with the community inside and outside of Hunt Street. From member events like Nachos Libre to Baking with Besties we made it our mission to make sure we had fun together. We partnered with Former Vintage to host our 5th Vintage Fest. This year was our 5th year as a company and we threw a birthday party with a special concert this July. We worked with Design Core during the Detroit Month of Design to host events and throw our 2nd Annual Evening of Arts. To close out the year we hosted our 3rd Annual Christkindl Market in collaboration with the German American Business Council.
